MDSecurity – A PHP Security and Authentication Framework

A very common requirement for any website is to have a secured page or section that is only accessible to limited users. To ease this task for developers I have put together the MDBitz Security and Authentication Framework. This framework not only contains the ability to verify a user’s name and password, but also contains support for encryption, session handling, and advanced session verification.

To put it simply this stand alone framework allows you to fully secure your php website page(s) without forcing you to change your coding style or habits.

MDSecurity Framework 0.2 released!!

Version 0.2 of the MDSecurity Framework has been officially released. This release focused mainly on the support of database interactions through the use of PHP Database Objects (PDOs). In this release you will find a new Database Access Control to verify the user login against values in a database, as well as a new Session Handler allowing you to save session information into your database instead of to a file on the server.
